How to Book

We have tried to simplify the booking procedure as much as possible. You book online, either by using PayPal or through a simple wire transfer. Please note that you don’t have to hold a PayPal account in order to use it.

Alternatively, if you prefer to skip the online booking procedure, you can fill out this form and email it to info@mythscapes.com or print it out and post it to Pindou 39, 14342, Nea Filadelfeia, Athens, Greece.

Please use any of the following ways to contact us and we will have an answer to your query either immediately or within the next 24 hours at the latest:
-You can call us on +30 211 1893871 from Monday to Friday between 9 a.m and 9 p.m. (Eastern European Time).
-During the hours that our telephone centre is not available, you can leave us a voice mail.
-You can always send us an email at info@mythscapes.com.

All payments must be received in euros.

Deposits are not refundable or transferable because there are specific set costs (hotel and transportation deposits) that have to be paid in advance.

If Mythscapes cancels, there will be a full refund of any amount you have paid (including the deposit).

The highly unlikely event of a tour cancellation might be due to either a small number of participants (less than 8 persons) or for safety reasons, especially due to weather conditions. In any case, you will be timely notified and, of course, fully refunded.

Of course not. On average, almost one third of the participants are single travelers.

Despite the economic hardship that it is currently undergoing, Greece is a modern country, with fully working social and economic institutions and up-to date infrastructures that offer everything the contemporary traveller should need: A modern road network, harbours and airports guarantee your smooth and swift transportation. At the same time, in case of an emergency, there are fully operational and up-to-date both public and private health centres and hospitals around the country. Also, all major retail companies can be found in Greece, be it from electronics to clothing. Moreover, well trained security forces, police and tourist police, are there to assist you and provide you with a sense of security and the affirmation that you are, indeed, in the safest country in Europe, as statistics say.

We are always happy to accommodate any such dietary requirements. The tour manager will be aware of them and will see that they are fully met. The only thing you have to do is send us an email stating your requirements.

Yes. As you can see on our Travel Insurance page, we are affiliated with a large insurance company with which you can book your insurance. However, you can also have your own insurance. In either case, we strongly recommend that our customers have insurance that covers as a minimum, cancellation before the tour, hospitalisation while on tour, and repatriation in the case of severe illness or injury.

In the vast majority of cases, no. It is up to you if you like to “dress up” for dinner for instance. However, in some places of religious worship, for example Byzantine monasteries or churches, some dressing rules apply, especially for women. Naturally, you will be fully informed on that well in advance.

Of course we will. On the day of the arrival as well as the previous day, there will be a round-the-clock Mythscapes pick-up service available that will take you to your hotel. The only thing you have to do is notify us in advance about the details of your flight (where you are coming from, airline, flight number and, of course, arrival time).

For legal reasons, we need to receive your cancellation either by regular mail in writing (addressed to Mythscapes, Pindou 39, N. Filadelfeia, 14342, Athens, Greece) or by email to info@mythscapes.com.

In general the weather in Greece and Turkey is rather mild, especially in the time of our tours. In other words it is ideal to travel to this part of the world during the spring, early summer and fall. In the following table you can find the average temperatures during the periods of our tours. However, it is always advised to check the weather beforehand in one of the several meteorological sites available on the web.
